Global Talent Science, Engineering, Humanities, Social Science and Medicine Visa

Global Talent Science, Engineering, Humanities, Social Science and Medicine Visa

The Global Talent Visa pathway is tailored for exceptional individuals who are research-active in academic, industrial, or governmental research institutions across varied disciplines such as science, engineering, humanities, social science, and medicine.

Endorsements for applicants are contingent on their notable stature in their respective fields or their potential to attain such stature. This can be determined by prominent bodies like the Royal Society (for natural and medical science), the Royal Academy of Engineering (for engineering), the British Academy (for humanities and social sciences), and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) for broader science and research areas.

There isn’t a ceiling on the number of eligible candidates for the Science, Engineering, Humanities, and Medicine sub-category under the Global Talent route.

Eligibility for the Global Talent Visa
For those aspiring to secure the Global Talent Visa in fields like Science, Engineering, Humanities, Social Science, and Medicine, UK Visas and Immigration necessitate the following:

  • Age should be 18 or above.
  • Possession of an endorsement letter from a recognized body or have secured a prize from Appendix Global Talent: Prestigious Prizes.
  • Adherence to the general non-refusal criteria.
  • A valid TB certificate, if applicable.

Since requirements can vary depending on personal circumstances, consulting an immigration solicitor can be beneficial.
